Anna Noble is a performer, choreographer, Movement director, and founder of Noble Acts, LLC. She is a bi-coastal freelancer working in NYC and LA represented by MSA agency.  

Anna begun studying dance at the age of four and has since trained at the School of the Hartford Ballet, American Dance Festival, Walnut Hill School of the Arts, the Ailey School, Joffrey Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts (EMIA) and Dominican/Lines where she graduated Cum Laude from the Honors program with her B.F.A in dance.

As a performer, Anna is known for her work in the cast of the 2018 Broadway Revival of Carousel as well as her appearances on the FX television series Fosse/Verdon choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler. She has been seen in the world-premiere musical adaptation of The Flamingo Kid, directed by Tony-award winner Darko Tresjak and in Warren Carlyle's Tony-award winning musical, After Midnight, on the Norwegian Cruise Line's Escape as a lead principal and ensemble dancer. She was featured in Diaspora Songs at Carnegie Hall, an event curated by Angélique Kidjo, featuring artists from around the globe exploring the impact that African music has had on the modern musical landscape and she performed Hinton Battle's Danzzze Dreams at the Okinawa International Movie Festival in Japan and appeared on the Japanese reality show Road to Broadway. Regionally, Anna performed in the ensemble and as a featured dancer in Ragtime The Musical at the Ogunquit Playhouse. Her duet with Darius Crenshaw, choreographed by Jesse Robs, was mentioned in reviews as "a lovely memory ballet" from Broadwayworld and "graceful Pas De Deux" from the Press Herald. 

In addition to her work on the stage and screen, Anna has performed in music videos for artists Alicia Keys, Todrick Hall and Yahira Music. She has done commercial and print work for BET, Pepsi and immersive advertisements for companies such as JetBlue, Time Out New York, The Box NYC and more. She has worked and performed for choreographers Hinton Battle, Warren Carlyle, Jason Sparks, Jesse Robs, Fredrick Earl

Mosley, Clifton Brown, Matthew Rushing, Troy Powell, Rachelle Raks, Abdur-Rahim Jackson, Meredith Rainey, Heidi-Austin Cruz, Matthew Kenan, Ronald K. Brown, Camille A. Brown, Ferdinand De Jesus, Vincent Hardy and more.

Anna’s career as a choreographer has brought her to create movement for concert dance, commercial projects and theatre. This past November 2021, she was Movement Director for the virtual social-distanced live stream concert, The Perfect Fit, at New World Stages written by the young and talented, Joshua Turchin. She was also the choreographer for the sold-out world premiere of The Perfect Fit at the Rave Theater Festival in summer 2019. According to the Wall Street Journal, “The Perfect Fit features elegant storylines woven beautifully with Anna’s choreography.”  

Anna's love for dance also manifests in her work as a teacher. She teaches ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, improvisation and GYROKINESIS (R) at various dance studios- Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, Mark Morris Dance School, Soul Arts Academy, Philadelphia Dance Academy, PA School of the Arts, Brooklyn Highschool of the Arts, etc. In addition to teaching for institutions, Anna offers customized virtual privates and group sessions via zoom for dancers and non-dancers.

Anna has also enjoyed organizing and hosting events, from artistic showcases to open mic and character development workshops. For several summers in the last decade, she has put this passion into action at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts in Kent, CT. She has also produced and hosted her own events- A Night of Dance with Anna Noble and Friends in 2013 at the Community Education Center in Philadelphia, PA and Holding Onto Hope: A Black History Celebration at NYC’s Shetler Studios in 2017.  This past summer, she was honored to be the Event Director for Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts Online 2020. Currently, she is co-hosting and producing the Dance is Activism Film Festival 2021 presented by Early Mosley’s Diversity of Dance in collaboration with Bridge For Dance and the Producers Club of NYC. The virtual film festival is to be screened on February 21st through February 25th on the vimeo platform.

Above all, Anna believes in the importance of giving back to the arts community and looks forward to planning future events. She is thankful for God's love and the support of her family, mentors, friends and agents at MSA agency. She is happy to continue building her career, collaborating with other artists and utilizing her gifts to make a positive difference in the world!
